Besides installing all new electrical, ripping out the old oil heat pump and putting in an entirely new HVAC system, the first room we are tackling is the hall bathroom. I would have really like a 3rd half bath so that I didn’t have to keep Cam’s bathroom clean for guests . . . we may end up putting one in near the laundry room.
We ripped out the huge old oil heat pump that was in a closet in this bathroom. The tub must have been original - it was so heavy. I wanted to move the toilet to the left wall and put a walk-in shower length-wise across the far wall, but plumbing was too complicated to change and we decided to pull the tub from the primary . . . we needed to have a tub somewhere?
Why are bathroom vanities either so ugly or so ridiculously expensive? My taste is not aligning with our budget for this aspect. Everything I like on Pinterest must be custom made. We will see what we end up with but I’m telling myself we should spend the money on the primary instead.
